2024 International Interdisciplinary Forum for Young Scholars
I.About the forum
To build a global platform for young scholars to exchange ideas, showcase the vibrant development of Nansha District in Guangzhou and the cutting-edge scientific research ecosystem of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), and promote the construction of a talent highland in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) plans to hold the first International Interdisciplinary Forum For Young Scholars from November 18-20, 2024.
The forum will be hosted online and offline at the same time, and participant can choose the way of attendance of their own accord. The offline events include multiple special lectures, academic seminars, talent negotiation meetings, and on-site inspection activities.
II.Registration requirements
Under the age of 40.
Obtain a doctoral degree from renowned universities or research institutions both domestically and internationally.
The main research directions are natural sciences, engineering technology.
Gain certain achievements in the forefront field and have good growth potential;
Intend to work at our school.

IV.Expense
Accommodation and meals during the forum will be arranged by the school;
The school reimburses scholars who participate in offline forums for round-trip transportation expenses within the country (Participants are requested to book travel tickets by their own, relevant receipts should be kept and submitted to the forum organizer, and actual expenses are reimbursed after the forum ends. Airline tickets are limited to economy class, and high-speed rail tickets are limited to second-class seats);
The school provides academic report remuneration for invited scholars.
V.Application steps
Registration
Qualified young scholars are requested to scan the QR code below or log in to the forum system on their computer before November 8, 2024 to register.

Invitation
The school will send the invitation letter before November 10, 2024. Please check the email registered in the registration system in a timely manner.
Confirmation
After receiving the invitation letter, the invitee is requested to fill out the receipt and confirm the participation form before November 11, 2024.
